Yū Asakawa (born March 20, 1975) is a Japanese voice actress and singer represented by Arts Vision; she
was previously married to fellow voice actor Showtaro Morikubo. Her notable roles include: Motoko Aoyama (Love Hina), Mizuki Tachibana (Gravion), Arnett Macmillan (Freezing), Isaac Newton/Jess Beckham (Nobunagun), Rider (Fate/stay night), Nagi Kirima (Boogiepop Phantom), Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh), Leone (Akame ga Kill!), Honoka Tsukikage (Aikatsu!), and Shinobu Miwa (RahXephon). Asakawa lent her voice to Seisha Akahoshi in the anime series He's Our Fallen Angel.
